Can kids enter? Yes!

Youth entries are highly encouraged and will be highlighted in the Hess gallery. Youth entries DO NOT need to be framed. Youth entries may also be completed under instruction. Individuals 15 years and younger are eligible for youth entry. Please include their age by their name and be sure to give guardian permission.

Does my work have to be framed? Not necessarily.

Work must come to us ready to display. For 2Dimensional work this typically means framed with hanging hardware. If 2D work is large or intended to be displayed unframed we are able to do that. Please let us know ahead of time if that is your intention so we can prepare the correct hanging materials.

Is there a theme? Yes.

The theme is “On A Whim” We understand that not all work fits into every theme so we have chosen a theme with a very open interpretation. It’s more of a show Title.

Do I have to be a member? Yes.

Membership must be up to date in order to enter. Memberships will be checked at drop off.

How many pieces should I bring? Up to 3.

Each member, including youth, are allowed to bring up to 3 pieces to drop off. Once we know how many pieces have been submitted, the BAC will know if all of the pieces will be included into the exhibit. The BAC will decide which pieces to exhibit, including at least one work from each submitting member. Work not included in the exhibit can be picked up at the reception. Artists are asked to rank their pieces from favorite to least favorite to help us decide.

If we have a family membership who can enter? Everyone!

Each member of the family can enter up to 3 pieces.

How do I get an entry form?

Entry forms may be picked up ahead of time at BAC or during drop off.
